 The ibis Gatwick has had a successful year following a full bedroom refurbishment and is about embark on the next phase of the development programme. This includes an extension of 70 bedrooms and an expansion of the hotel’s public spaces to optimise food and beverage opportunities.

 As an airport hotel affiliated with one of the busiest transportation hubs in the UK, the ibis Gatwick is a fast-paced working environment. You must possess a passion to succeed and thrive on the responsibility of leading and training a small team to exceed their targets.

 We are looking for a very special General Manager to lead the team through an extensive refurbishment program while continuing to reposition the property for the future growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Ideally, you will have five years of experience as General Manager in a hotel operating at high occupancy.

·         You will have experience of managing a hotel through a period of change and be able to demonstrate how the business was repositioned in its market.

·         You will have experience of Accor or a similar International brand

·         You will have commercial expertise in driving revenue while managing costs and delivering an outstanding guest experience.
