The Best Western Carlton Hotel was acquired by Starboard Hotels in early 2015 and it has undergone a gradual renovation programme to restore the hotel to its glory as a well-known Blackpool landmark.
Built at the turn of the century, the hotel boasts panoramic scenery across the Irish Sea as well as a “front row” view along 12 miles of sandy beaches and the famous Golden Mile.
With its 55 rooms, the Best Western Carlton is located on the North Promenade of the Blackpool shore, a short walking distance to the city’s main attractions.

All lighting has been replaced with energy efficient LED.
Recycling waste streams: Dry Mixed Recycling, Glass, Food, Batteries, Toners
We monitor energy consumption and train staff on energy-efficient practices.

Help us to recycle by using the recycling stations in the public areas.
Do not keep the tap running when brushing your teeth – save water.
Ask at reception for local guides to explore the local area using alternative means of transport
