The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Group Finance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial governance of the business. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll lead the payroll and AP/AR team, ensure accurate consolidation of Group accounts, and provide critical support to senior stakeholders. This is a hybrid full-time position based in Beaconsfield with a salary starting at £40,000.00 per annum depending on experience.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Completion of end to end financial reporting for the Group, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and consolidations.

  • Manage Group Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.

  • Respond to financial reporting queries from the business and shareholders.

  • Assist with the annual audit process and liaise with auditors.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of supplier accounts and balance sheets.

  • Support and manage daily Group cashflow.

  • Maintain regular communication with external parties including banks.

  • Oversee Group expenses and ensure adherence to policy.

  • Monthly CapEx reporting.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and transformational change.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive business performance.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified or qualified by experience.

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and consolidation processes.

  • Extensive experience with accounting systems (currently Xero).

  • Solid understanding of AP/AR/Payroll.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.

  • Knowledge of hospitality Property Management Systems.

  • Familiarity with Fourth or similar Payroll/HR/Rota systems.
