Talent Hunt Terms and Conditions
We appreciate your time in recommending a potential employee to us. In recognition of this effort, Starboard Hotels provides a 'Talent Hunt Reward' for recommendations that lead to a successful recruitment of a £50 gift voucher for your choice of Amazon or Love2Shop.
The following terms and conditions apply and are accepted by anyone recommending potential applicants to Starboard Hotels:
- The scheme is open to all employees of Starboard Hotels, Starboard Dining and our properties (“the referee”).
- A recommendation must be submitted online using the form above, in advance of the candidate applying; these cannot be accepted retrospectively. Submissions via the form will hereafter be referred to as Recommendation(s).
- Only those Recommendations that result in employment of the candidate qualify.
- A maximum of one Reward per recruited candidate will be awarded. In the event that more than one referee recommends the same candidate, the referee who submitted the first Recommendation will be the recipient of the Reward.
- Any potential candidate must be employed by Starboard Hotels within 3 months of the Recommendation being submitted.
- The Reward is paid after the recruited candidate’s first shift has been completed.
- Rewards will not be given for candidates who are already known to or registered with Starboard Hotels at the time of receiving the Recommendation.
- Rewards are payable only to current employees of Starboard Hotels or one of our affiliated hotels or companies, excluding those currently working their notice period.
- An unlimited number of Recommendations can be made.
- The person being recommended to us must be aware and have consented to their details being passed to Starboard Hotels . This is the responsibility of the referee and is subject to the Data Protection Act 1998. The referee will indemnify Starboard Hotels for any loss or claim arising out of the referee's failure to procure such consent.
- Information supplied will only be used in accordance with this scheme and not passed to any third parties.
- The candidate referred must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
- We reserve the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw the Talent Hunt scheme at any time and without notice.
- Starboard Hotels shall not be liable for any losses or damages that may result from entering the Talent Hunt scheme.
- The Reward will be provided as a physical or electronic gift voucher. The recipient accepts any tax liability and agrees to pay any tax arising from receiving the bonus payment.
